Ryder spent most of his formative years cutting his teeth writing, touring and gathering stories across the South with his band, crossing paths with some of the country's biggest names.
A true Louisiana family man at heart, Ryder began to carve his path another way when his first child was born. Being a single father of two and raising them most of their lives on his on, Ryder still managed to involve himself in the creative community through music,events and film.
Ryder is known for his Emmy nomination as an executive producer of the documentary “Autism in America,” and MidSouth Emmy award winning documentary, “Hunger in America” both of which poignantly illustrate the life and hardship of some of America’s most unseen communities.
Ryder’s unique life experience have created a unique creative arc, allowing him to earnestly express classic southern stories of love, loss and the joys of life.
Returning to music in 2018 with both kids off to college, Ryder began writing and recording his catalogue.
In 2021 he released his debut single “You Are” which now has over 120,000 streams world wide. His latest single, "Heart on Hold" is available on all music platforms now.
